Optivia Health is available in supported locations across Cyprus, including Nicosia, Limassol, Larnaca, Paphos and the Famagusta area. Appointment availability depends on the independent provider, package and date.
Optivia was created from the belief that waiting for symptoms should never be the norm. Most of us only start looking for answers when something feels “off”, a new symptom, a drop in energy, or a change we can’t explain. We built Optivia to bring real data directly to you through comprehensive lab testing, science-backed insights, and personalised guidance. Our goal is to help you truly understand what’s happening inside your body before problems escalate. Because when real data meets a preventive mindset, it becomes one of the most powerful strategies for long-term health and wellbeing.
Optivia comes from the idea of optimising vitality, helping you understand your body, improve your energy, and take charge of your long-term wellbeing through clarity and data.
Some people choose testing to establish a baseline or monitor selected measurements over time. Testing is not a guarantee that a person is healthy and cannot by itself predict or rule out disease. Ask your licensed healthcare provider which tests, if any, are appropriate for your age, history, symptoms and risk factors.
Your doctor selects tests based on clinical need, symptoms, history and professional guidelines. Optivia offers predefined private testing packages through independent providers. More tests are not automatically better, so discuss clinical relevance and follow-up with your own licensed healthcare provider.
No. Optivia Health does not provide medical advice, diagnosis or treatment. Laboratory results, reports and educational coaching support do not replace an examination or care from your own licensed healthcare provider.
After you sign up, you’ll receive a link to book your appointment. Our certified lab partners will come directly to your home to collect your blood sample at the time that works best for you.
About 20 minutes.
Package terms and included testing frequency are shown on the Packages page. How often a specific biomarker should be tested depends on your circumstances and is a medical question for your licensed healthcare provider.
A biomarker is a measurable sign of how your body is working, like cholesterol, blood sugar, or vitamin levels. It helps show what’s going on inside your body so you can spot issues early or track your health over time.
The What We Test page lists the current catalogue by category, including whole blood, heart, metabolic, thyroid, kidney, liver, nutrient and other markers. Not every marker is included in every package; check the live package details before booking.
The biomarker panel was carefully designed with guidance from the independent doctors we work with and our trusted lab partners. Together, we created a comprehensive list that focuses on the markers most relevant for understanding your current health and preventing future issues.
Different biomarkers describe different measurements, but a larger panel is not automatically appropriate for every person and does not create a complete picture of health. Review what each package includes and ask your licensed healthcare provider which measurements are clinically relevant for you.
Independent laboratory providers perform the tests using their own validated processes and quality controls. No laboratory measurement is error-free, and results can be affected by preparation, timing, medication, biological variation and the method used. Discuss unexpected or important results with your doctor, who may recommend confirmation or follow-up.
Some of the lab tests require fasting to ensure accurate results, while others don’t. When you schedule your testing, our team will provide clear instructions on which tests require fasting and how long you need to fast beforehand.
Yes. For many tests, including fasting labs, morning appointments are recommended. This makes fasting easier to manage and ensures more accurate results for markers like blood sugar, insulin, and certain hormones that naturally fluctuate throughout the day.
Never stop your medications without consulting your personal doctor. Some medications can affect test results, so it’s important to follow your doctor’s guidance. Our lab team will provide instructions on any tests that may require special preparation.
Your safety and comfort are our top priority. Our trained lab specialists are experienced in handling blood draws in a home environment and situations like dizziness or fainting. If you feel unwell, we can pause or stop the procedure immediately. At Optivia, all blood draws are conducted in the comfort of your own home. This approach is designed to minimize stress and anxiety, and to reduce the risk of fainting that can sometimes occur in clinical settings.
The complete set of results is usually available within 3–4 weeks. Once all tests are finished, our independent doctors review your results and prepare a detailed report explaining your biomarkers and what they mean for your overall health.
After your report is complete, you can schedule a call with your Optivia health coach. During this call, your health coach will walk through your results with you, answer questions, and provide educational explanations to help you better understand your health. Please note, the health coach does not prescribe medications or provide medical treatment; their role is strictly informational and supportive.
If a result of your lab tests indicates a potential urgent or serious health issue, we will reach out immediately to inform you in order to seek urgent care from a qualified medical professional. • We do not diagnose or treat; our role is to help you understand your results and connect you with appropriate medical care quickly. • For critical results, we may contact you directly to ensure you get prompt attention. • For non-urgent results, we’ll provide a detailed summary and guidance for discussing the findings with your doctor. Note: Labs may alert us directly for events they consider urgent, but the ultimate responsibility for care always rests with your licensed healthcare provider.
Yes, you can share the report with your doctors.
Yes. Laboratory providers use quality-control processes, but pre-analytical, analytical and biological variation can still affect results. If a result is unexpected or does not fit your clinical situation, ask your licensed healthcare provider whether it should be repeated or confirmed.
